This is a very convenient battery type controller designed for maerklin-Z for situations when the Fan Start Set cannot use the power pack or for testing. For a continuous operation test, keep changing the voltage between 3.8V and 6V (it goes on for 93 min until full stop), and then, after waiting for 1.5 hours the batteries recharge. In case the voltage is set to 4V though during continuous operations, the time to full stop was measured to be 43 min. The batteries do not need to be changed all the time. If they are used 3-4 times a day with breaks in between, they can last for one month and 18 days.
